Seismic Interpreter
STARR (State of Texas Advanced Resource Recovery http://www.beg.utexas.edu/starr/), an established research program at the Jackson School of Geosciences at the University of Texas at Austin, is seeking a Seismic Interpreter to evaluate 3-D seismic surveys in the State of Texas for hydrocarbon potential. Interested applicants should have industry experience with seismic interpretation software programs such as Landmark, Geoquest, or SMT packages; a strong background in seismic interpretation including quantitative evaluation of amplitude modeling, AVO and DHI anomaly analyses, etc.; knowledge of Exxon-style sequence stratigraphy.
