Senior Oil Reservoir EngineerJob description In the position of Senior Oil Reservoir Engineer, you will develop and maintain high-quality production forecasting models, design data acquisition programs and interpret the data ensuring integrity and consistency. You will contribute to short-term production optimization and maximization of the recovery from existing fields. In addition, you will maintain the reserves inventory database, contribute to business plans and participate in integrated development teams for the development of new discoveries and further development of existing fields. Furthermore, you will contribute to exploration well proposals and execute testing programs. Keeping abreast of key issues related to other relevant disciplines, you will communicate the reservoir engineering aspects to all stakeholders. Your team The successful candidate will join the Production Optimization Department in Rijswijk, the Netherlands. Job profile We are looking for candidates with an MSc degree in Petroleum Engineering, Physics or a related discipline, and a minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably with an operator. The successful applicant will have extensive knowledge of oil reservoir engineering, primarily in the skill areas of reservoir management, data analysis, PVT, SCAL and production forecasting. Candidates should be knowledgeable in the areas of G&G, petrophysics, well operations, production engineering, and E&P economics. The position requires hands-on experience with dynamic reservoir modeling, while competence in the use of Eclipse and Petrel software is an asset. Ideally, applicants should have experience with fractured chalk/carbonate reservoirs and dual porosity simulation. Very good written reporting skills and strong communication skills are essential, as is a good command of the English language. North Sea experience is a distinct advantage. Interested?
