Job Overview: A leading global services Company, offering a broad range of services to the oil and gas upstream industry seeks a GIS Developer capable of design, development and support of desktop and web mapping applications for ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS for Server. Applicants are invited with a good degree in GIS or/and Computer Science and proven GIS development experience.
The Company provides a broad range of seismic and reservoir related services to a range of oil company clients across Europe Africa & Middle East. They are a world leader in the provision of marine seismic data, with data libraries from all the world's major hydrocarbon basins. Their geophysical acquisition and reservoir consultancy teams add geotechnical and commercial value to this data across the exploration value chain. These teams are supported by the best technology facilities in the industry, with access to an extensive suite of software applications, the ArcGIS products being just one of the suites used for analysis and sharing of data and maps.
With proven GIS development experience, you will be involved in assisting in updating and maintaining a range of geographic information and making it available to a growing number of consumers both internally and externally. You will be expected to take a lead in this growing area in the development of desktop applications and web mapping capabilities.

Package: Dependent on skills and experience, a Base Salary of £35K - £45K plus discretionary bonus, 25 days' holiday, and a range of Company Benefits is on offer.
