Title: Principal Development Geophysicist - Operator EW/WS/1079
Location: Central London Job Status: Consultant (Min 1 Year) Interview Date: ASAP Start Date: February/March 2013 Open To: EU citizens or UK work permit holders Job Overview: An Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company seek a Principal Development Geophysicist to join a small integrated subsurface team in their head-office in London, to play a key role in the maximisation of value from their subsurface assets. Applicants are invited with a minimum of 15 years' oil industry experience, with a strong background in seismic interpretation and with significant experience in the identification, development and maturation of development drilling opportunities. The Company operating since the mid 90's is a FTSE-listed Oil & Gas company and has been highly successful in realising their strategy of developing oil and gas interests in Eastern and Central Europe. Their core assets are centred in and around the states of the former Soviet Union, with specific focus on Ukraine and Russian opportunities, where they have built significant gas production and processing facilities which they own and operate. They have additional assets in Hungary, Slovakia and Bulgaria. Their activities span the full-cycle E&P value chain of exploration, appraisal, and development through to production. Their on-going plans are to continue to invest in Eastern and Central Europe and further apply their knowledge to consolidate their position as the most experienced western operator in Ukraine. With a combination of strong financial commitment, an experienced management and geotechnical leadership and a deep understanding of and expertise within this region, they are well placed to deliver their goals.
