Job Overview: A leading geoscience and engineering consulting company serving the global upstream oil and gas industry seeks a Production Engineer who is good at well modeling, artificial/gas lifting, and proficient in "Prosper" software application. This role will be based in KL for 2-3 months. Thereafter, there is potential for further projects in Houston or in their other international offices. The Company is open to hiring a Consultant or a Permanent member of staff to augment their existing team of senior subsurface and reservoir engineering staff in their Houston or other locations. Applicants are invited with a minimum of 10 years' oil and gas industry experience and a strong broad background in well modelling, artificial lifting methods for offshore wells and competent in using Prosper.

Working with the project team, you will:

• Evaluate and recommend artificial lifting method for offshore infill wells
• Run Prosper models to analyze artificial lift issues.
• Report on findings and make recommendations.

Preferences: The successful candidate will have:

• Strong background in well modeling essential.
• Experience in evaluating and recommending artificial lifting method for offshore infill wells.
• Experienced in gas lifting analysis and design.
• Competent in using Prosper software.
• Excellent communications skills with fluency in English - both written and verbally essential.
• Minimum of 10 years oil and gas industry experience essential.
• Experience of working in multi-disciplinary team desired.
• Degree in Petroleum or Production Engineering preferred.
