Title: Reservoir Geophysicist - EW/WS/1110
Location: UK - Surrey Job Status: Permanent Interview Date: ASAP Start Date: ASAP Open To: EU Citizens or holders of UK work permits Job Overview: A leading global oil services Company, offering a broad range of services such as seismic data acquisition, processing, reservoir analysis/interpretation and multi-client library datasets, seeks a Reservoir Geophysicist for their expanding Reservoir Characterisation Group. Applicants are invited with at a minimum of 2 years in the oil and gas industry and experience in seismic inversion and rock physics. The Company will provide all required training and mentoring in technical disciplines and software. The Company's highly established and reputable Reservoir Services includes geological, geophysical, reservoir engineering and petroleum economics teams. These teams deliver regional scale 3D interpretations, detailed integrated studies, prospectivity studies, quantitative interpretation, asset evaluations and license round support to oil company clients worldwide in an integrated set-up. In your role, you will work alongside senior geoscientists performing reservoir characterisation studies. This will involve a range of activities from data QC (well, seismic, interpretation…); rock physics and AVO modelling; attribute analysis; depth conversion, through to seismic pre-stack inversion (2D, 3D and 4D) and lithology / fluid prediction. These results could be then incorporated into an Exploration Prospectivity Report for the end client. You will be mentored and supported by senior team members enabling you to progress and take on more responsibilities. Package: A Base Salary of £35K - £45K is on offer. In addition, 25 days holiday, pension, gym sponsorship, medical cover, etc. as well as an annual Bonus Scheme.
