Location: UK - Aberdeen Job Status: Permanent Interview Date: ASAP Start Date: ASAP Open To: EU citizens or UK Work Permit Holders Job Overview: The largest independent power producer in the Middle East and North Africa and an established oil and gas operator seeks a Senior Reservoir Engineer to take both technical and operational responsibility for all reservoir engineering activities for one or more large North Sea assets. You will focus on the optimisation of current production and identify future opportunities to maximise ultimate recovery. In this senior role, you will be empowered to work on your initiative undertaking technically challenging and exciting projects. For example, in 2012, the Company acquired $1 billion dollars' worth of assets in the central NS and there is more to come… The Company with operations on four continents has a portfolio of high-quality assets in exploration and production of crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids, gas storage, oil & gas processing and transport. With multiple centers of excellence; 2000 employees across 40 countries; a strong management team and heavy financial investment from their Abu Dhabi parent Company, they are committed to major exploration and production expansion both in emerging and established markets worldwide. Our Client is truly an "Energy Company" active in power generation and water desalination, oil and gas exploration and production, and emerging and innovative technologies. They are a relatively new player in the North Sea but already have in excess of 10 active assets. They have operations in the Middle East and Canada and are actively looking at additional international opportunities.
