The Company offers a full range of services surrounding potential field geophysics to exploration companies. These services and products range from airborne surveys, data acquisition, processing, and integrated interpretation projects, including related software. The Company has developed pioneering airborne acquisition techniques that are yielding benefits including lease decisions, seismic location determination, prospect generation and drilling locations. Through the acquisition of gravity gradient data, the analysis of gravity and magnetic data in combination with other conventional methods provides a more complete exploration solution as interpretational uncertainties are reduced through the analysis of additional rock properties. This methodology helps explorationists gain a complete picture and a better understanding of subsurface geology, through a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach. They can demonstrate that significant geological information can be gleaned from gravity and magnetic data in both frontier and mature exploration areas and as such the need for airborne surveys has dramatically increased. The Company are now in need of personnel to staff additional airborne survey to meet demand. Working as part of a team, alongside a project geophysicist your primary responsibility will be to operate, calibrate and when necessary; repair airborne acquisition instrumentation in the field. You will also acquire and process airborne gravity gradient data as well as complementary data sets making sure that the quality and integrity of this data is acceptable for the next stage of processing. The acquisition and quality control (QC) is an important stage of the service, and you will work closely with the processing field geophysicists, informing the client of progress, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. As such, this role is ideal for someone with a electronic background. Package: Dependent on skills and experience the Company are offering a Base Salary of £20K-£25K plus Field Pay and Field Allowance, resulting in an annual expected salary of £32K -£36K. In addition, a 5% Bonus scheme plus company benefits.
