Location: Worldwide Field Operations (Rotational) Job Status: Permanent Position (Travel) Interview Date: ASAP Start Date: ASAP Open To: All Nationalities Job Overview: A recognised leading provider of specialist services in gravity and magnetic geophysics to oil exploration companies, mining groups and government organizations worldwide seeks Senior Field Projects Engineers/Geophysicists. The Company offers a full range of services surrounding potential field geophysics to exploration companies. These services and products range from airborne surveys, data acquisition, processing, and integrated interpretation projects, including related software. The Company has developed pioneering airborne acquisition techniques that are yielding benefits including lease decisions, seismic location determination, prospect generation and drilling locations. Through the acquisition of gravity gradient data, the analysis of gravity and magnetic data in combination with other conventional methods provides a more complete exploration solution as interpretational uncertainties are reduced through the analysis of additional rock properties. This methodology helps explorationists gain a complete picture and a better understanding of subsurface geology, through a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach. They can demonstrate that significant geological information can be gleaned from gravity and magnetic data in both frontier and mature exploration areas and as such the need for airborne surveys has dramatically increased. The Company are now in need of personnel to staff additional airborne survey to meet demand.
