Title: Seismic Data Loader - Copenhagen - EW/WS/644

Location: Denmark - Copenhagen

Job Status: Contract - 6-9 Months

Job Overview: A growing company in outsourced records and information management services seeks a Data Loader to work at a Client Oil Company site.

Your primary role will be the preparation and loading of well & 2D/3D seismic data to workstation applications. The data preparation will include the extraction and manipulation of data from the Client's databases and external sources. You will load SEGY data to Landmark's SeisWorks application and well data to Landmark's OpenWorks application. You will ensure the integrity of the data loaded, conducting quality control checks at every stage maintaining company standards and organizing the return of completed work to the clients.

You will work in a timely and professional manner in response to requests from geoscientists. You will ensure that all data requests are tracked and responded to, ensuring a high level of internal customer satisfaction is maintained.

This role would suit an individual who has proven experience in loading seismic data, excellent client liaison and problem solving skills.

Preferences:The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in an Earth Science or related subject.
  • A minimum of 2 years Oil Industry experience essential.
  • Solid working knowledge of 2D/3D seismic & well data loading to OpenWorks /SeisWorks essential.
  • Management of Seismic data in the UNIX environment essential.
  • Knowledge of Unix\Linux operating system essential
  • Must be both a good team player and at the same time self-motivated and capable of working unsupervised.
  • Proactive approach in ensuring data is available and accessible to end-users on time and in a professional manner.
  • Good problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
  • Strong service delivery focus, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and high quality of service essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong client facing skills -ability to work at client based environment essential

Package: : An attractive Contract Day Rate of £300 - £400 (GBP) + Accommodation is on offer dependent on skills and experience.
