Job Overview: An established and highly reputable Company providing integrated geoscience software to the upstream oil and gas industry seek a Regional Vice President for Europe and Africa.

The Company has already a large client base globally and offices in all major oil capitals, a strong management team, excellent operational and support staff, leading edge integrated geoscience technology suite, and most importantly committed finances; they are strategically ready for major expansion.

As an experienced business manager with P&L accountability, you will drive and manage expansion in Europe and Africa. You will develop strategic plans that will meet agreed objectives for your region. You will have overall responsibility for the implementation of plans, the day-to-day operations, and the management of all operational, technical, sales, and commercial personnel in your region.

Preferences: The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in managing a technology business - at country or regional level essential.
  • Minimum of 10 years oil and gas industry experience essential.
  • A geoscience or technology related background essential. (geoscience experience highly advantageous).
  • Strong strategic focus essential - can devise strategic plans, implement, and monitor and control.
  • Strong management abilities - the ability to manage a large group of people effectively to achieve objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - with the ability to develop good working relationships internally and with partners and clients essential.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills - ability to conduct business at board level.
  • Enthusiasm, drive and ambition to succeed.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated individual who is proactive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Strong team player that can work with all levels within their region and with the management team to accomplish goals.
  • Must be able to travel globally.

Package: An attractive Package in the region of £150K (GBP) or higher is on offer dependent on the skills and experience of the candidate. In addition, Company Benefits are on offer.
