Job Overview: A National Oil Company based in West London seeks a Geomodelling Specialist to continue the work of a current modeller to do a model rebuild, on a carbonate field. Defining the geological structure is the initial workflow, and then you would undertake a rebuild with new horizons. Applicants are invited with proven experience in geological modelling, preferably using Petrel. Some experience of uncertainty modelling is also desired.

This is a contract position with a minimum of 45 days but could be extended. Most of the fundamental work is in place and approved.

The Client is happy for the contractor to work from their offices but will also consider working from home.

Preferences: The successful candidate will have:

• Geoscience degree essential - Geology desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience essential.
• Deep understanding of general geomodeling workflows.
• Proven experience in building geological models essential.
• Proven experience using Petrel highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently to achieve agreed results essential.
