 Quality Manager - Aberdeen, ScotlandOscar Associates has been approached in order to identify a high level Quality Manager for a Global Super major Operator in Aberdeen. The Operator has had a strong foothold in the North Sea E&P industry for a number of years and is currently looking to increase its presence with a number of high profile projects. The Quality Manager is required to manage the personnel in the Quality team and also the performance of contractors. A key part of the position will be to establish and maintain an effective Business Management System to meet regulatory and industry requirements, by developing and managing the monitoring, audit , review and improvement processes required to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Business Management System. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to: •Responsible for establishing an effective company wide business management system (BMS). •Defining the required policies, processes, standards, procedures, forms and guidelines in conjunction with departmental management. •Overseeing ongoing compliance with relevant regulation, legislation and national & international standards. •Developing and maintaining an effective BMS control system. •Promoting Quality culture and standards of best practice. •Setting quality objectives and standards for the organisation. •Monitoring and measuring performance •Management of the BMS company wide audit program. •Supporting the HSSEQ department to ensure Risk Control Systems are audited as part of the overall risk management strategy. •Establishing an effective continual improvement process within the company •Providing appropriate quality performance information and advice to the MD and Senior Management to allow informed decision making.
