![]() Senior Reservoir Engineer - Paris, FranceMy client is a leading upstream consultancy who provides software and services to leading operators worldwide. They have offices across 5 continents and a very extensive client base. Their core activity to aid subsurface professional interpret subsurface data and assess exploration and production risks and opportunities and are now looking to recruit 2 reservoir engineers to bolster their current team. These positions have arisen due to continual expansion and business development. The successful candidate will be expected to manage an integrated project team composed of geophysicists, geologists and reservoir engine ers. Strong technical and analytical skills are also expected in order to conduct detailed analysis of production performance, build and use dynamic simulation models and propose optimized field development plans including EOR schemes to clients worldwide. You will use the Company's innovative reservoir simulation software as well as other standard industry tools. You will be reporting directly to the Reservoir Engineering Department Manager based in our main office in France international locations such as the Middle East, South America or Africa. Responsibilities: •Acting as Project Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to: •Perform analytical reservoir engineering analysis and dynamic simulation studies (model initialization, history matching and performance prediction). •Work actively in and/or manage an integrated project team. •Interact with the Client for data collection, results presentation and discussion. •Apply new methods and be able to use creativity in field development or re development, using leading edge technologies and tools •Promote integration between geological, reservoir and geophysical techniques in order to deliver powerful predictive models to meet current production challenges •Coach Junior Reservoir Engineers in their daily work This is an ideal role for an experienced, innovative and ambitious reservoir engineer who wishes to be actively contributing to successful reservoir studies. Requirements •BSc or MSc in Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering. •Significant experience in reservoir engineering. •Strong skills in reservoir simulation •Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral, essential. •A confident and assertive personality with the ability to provide effective technical leadership and articulate strong technical arguments is essential. •Previous experience in publishing and presenting technical papers highly desirable. •Previous overseas experience, advantageous. •Fluent English mandatory.
