 Senior/Lead Development/Reservoir Engineer - Paris, FranceA new opening has come to light for a Senior Development Engineer from a subsurface background to be based in France with a mid sized operator. This is a crucial and senior hire for them, the successful applications will be involved with leading small teams generating development concepts and plans and become the focal point within this discipline. Summary The principle duties are to generate and promote new offshore projects on both developed and undeveloped assets within the current portfolio and perform all development and feasibility studies for new business opportunities and asset/compa ny acquisitions. The scope of the role covers all areas relating to field development including screening, concept studies and economic assessments and well as all risks and uncertainties. There are two positions available, one related to offshore development the other related to onshore developments Responsibilities •Generate and promote new projects from with the existing portfolio •Ensure quality control all projects performed by subsidiaries •Business planning for entire life of development project •Risk and contingency planning •Feasibility studies of new opportunities (farm ins/outs, asset acquisition, company acquisition) etc •Estimation for resources needed (CAPEX/OPEX) •Design, evaluate and develop different development plans •Lead multi-disciplinary teams and interface with all other disciplines to ensure technical consistency on development plans and feasibilities studies •Coaching of junior engineers •Possible attendance of data rooms related to new business opportunities You will have decision making authority on a number of areas •CAPEX/OPEX estimations •Project scheduling •Development scheme selection •Approval and control of project specifications •Data provision for economic evaluations •Study budgets •Training and mentoring schemes for younger engineers We are looking for experienced subsurface professionals to join an expanding team working on and exciting and balanced portfolio of assets who have a wealth of experience in field development planing Please contact me confidentially to find out more about this role To discuss this position and similar roles please contact Oscar Associates quoting reference MW 20463 |
