 Senior/Lead Reservoir Engineer - Exploration/New Ventures - Den Haag, NetherlandsSenior Reservoir Engineer - Exploration/New Ventures Team Summary You will be involved in technical evaluation of new prospects and defining and optimising subsurface development concepts and economic prognosis This is a broad role for a technical expert to work as part of a small team in stimulating and dynamic working environment. You will exposed to a huge variety of projects covering the globe as my client heavily invests in creating new areas of development The Exploration Team is primarily concerned with conceptual life-cycle commercial evaluati on of exploration projects, new business opportunities and portfolio value analysis. In addition you will also give operational support to drilling and testing of international exploration/appraisal wells Responsibilities •Maturing exploration and new business opportunities within the global portfolio •Defining and optimising subsurface development concepts and economic prognosis. •Field performance and development reviews in support of identifying conceptual depletion plans including fluid properties and recovery factors for exploration prospects. •Conducting reservoir evaluations, predominantly using classical analytical engineering methods and dynamic simulation. •Working with cost and facilities group to define input parameters for for life-cycle stochastic economic models and give input to investment documents. •Engineering peer reviews •Operational petroleum engineering support to exploration wells including well test •analysis. Requirements My client need a high profile internationally experienced Reservoir Engineer for the with strong analytical and communication skills. The candidate will have a solid background in the classical reservoir engineering disciplines, and exposure to reservoir simulation.
