 Drilling Superintendent - Aberdeen, ScotlandDrilling Superintendent One of the Major Operators is looking to externally hire a Drilling Superintendent on a contract basis. You will be working in office on offshore assets in the North Sea. The position requires experience with extended reach drilling (ERD) and HPHT Operations. This is an opportunity to move to an established operator with a secure contract on excellent rates. The contract will be initiated for 1 year with a strong potential for further renewal. You will be working for a company with a huge presence in the North Sea as well as internationally. It will offer opportunities for contractors to renew and develop in a variety of locations. You will be required to enter an existing operation to maintain and build on the existing safety systems. Should you be successful, your main activities will be: •Review and approve Capital Equipment proposed by Drilling Contractors •Define KPIs for measuring rig performance and continuously evaluate and reform •Plan, execute and report the repair, refurbishment and recertification of all capital drilling equipment •Review and wherever applicable write operating procedures for specific processes •Asses the requirement for and justify rig upgrades in compliance with HSE •Define budget plan •Manage the deployment of contractors on the rig In order to be successful, you will need: •To be degree educated •To be eligible to work in the EU •Have strong Drilling and Operational experience •Excellent knowledge and understanding of drilling equipment This position is offered on a contract basis and offers very competitive rates, along with good potential for future contracts.
