Design work for West African operations. We are working with a medium sized international Operator to secure an experience Completion Engineer. The company has a varied portfolio, with assets in North America, the North Sea and West Africa. The position is a senior role based in their offices in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be designing the completions for their deep-water projects in the Ivory Coast. As well as being apart of the design and d evelopment of technology directly, you will be in charge of a small team, managing the operation effectively and within budget. This is a rare opportunity to join a successful operator at an interesting venture in their progress. The opportunity is available due to the expansion of the team and internal movement within the company. Should you be successful, you will be working on offshore assets from the office. You will take an active lead in design work and in developing new technologies. Not only this, you will be there to mentor and train young engineers and share your expertise accordingly. You will be responsible for: •Deep-water completion design and analysis •Mentoring young trainees •Liaising with other senior team members and cross department team leaders •Dual zone intelligent well completions •Topsides completion support for drilling and production related equipment •Equipment forecast and acquisition In order to be successful, you will need; •To be eligible to work in the UK •A degree in a relevant engineering discipline •Deep-water completion design experience •Leadership qualities •Proven record of successful projects •To be up to date with developing technologies This position offers a local staff package with competitive market rates.
