 Drilling Engineer - Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaDrilling Engineer A global oil and gas E & P company, with a number of substantial assets across South East Asia requires a Drilling Engineer to enter its offices in Malaysia. The successful candidate needs to be a highly experienced engineer, able to provide advanced drilling expertise in association with the Wells Management team. You will be directly involved with engineering and supervising team members on offshore drilling designs. You will be working on development projects involving well planning and operational activity. The position offers a substantial day rate, in line with market rates and requi res an existing eligibility to work in Malaysia. You will be working for an aggressive operator with a concentrated South East Asia asset base as well as a strong global presence. Should you be successful, you will be responsible for: • Working in close cooperation with the drilling team to set up drilling design and procedures • Assisting in the selection of drilling service providers • Occasional operational support, including site visits to the well front (3x Jack-Up rig) • Providing expertise and assistance setting up a new well integrity management system along with retaining strong HSE standards • Optimising the drilling process of all wells Well Planning for development project In order to be successful, you will need: • To be degree qualified in a relevant engineering degree • To have extensive experience in the oil industry with a focus on Drilling Engineering • To be committed to working hard and effectively on all projects you are involved with To be apart of this opportunity please contact me for more details.
