They have approached us to identify a Safety & Sustainability Function Manager to support all major developments across Western Europe. The role will be responsible for coordinating all HSE activities across the major projects and for establishing a safety culture and focus across all UKCS operations. The position will liaise closely with the VP and wider management team, advising them on HSE related issues. A key aspect of this role will be annual strategic planning of a ll HSE activities and goals, as will the audit and review of activities concerning HSE. The successful candidate will have extensive Oil & Gas HSE experience in a managerial capacity, as well as a good understanding of Corporate & Social Responsibility. The individual must be accomplished in communicating HSE matters at a corporate level and be able to influence in setting HSE on the agenda. A relevant undergraduate degree as well as multi discipline understanding is also required.
