 Senior Development Engineer - SpainRole: Senior Development Engineer - Spain Location: Spain Based at the Head Office in Spain, the Front End Development Engineer will be integrated into the Project Development & Planning Department and reporting to the Project Development & Planning Manager. The incumbent plays a key role in achieving the company's objective in terms of production growth, and his/her main functions will be to develop, promote & evaluate new projects from the company's portfolio of undeveloped and developed (re-development studies) assets, from conception to pre-project status. The Front End Development Engineer has also an important role in evaluating potential acquisitions of exploration acreage, assets and companies. Key responsibilities •To generate and promote new projects of company's undeveloped or developed assets and/or supervise and quality control the projects performed by subsidiaries •To generate development and feasibility studies of business opportunities, designing different development Scenarios for the study of a Development Project of any new opportunity and elaborating market screenings and company/asset analyses to identify investment opportunities. •To lead multi-disciplinary teams & interface with other disciplines to ensure technical consistency of the project, and coach junior engineers and control the quality of their studies •To estimate the capital resources needed for a Development Project, preparing the Reports, Statement of Requirements and Project Execution •To elaborate the business Long Term Plan (LTP) for all the Company Assets. Requirements •Degree qualified •Experience in one of the following domains: Business and Project Development / Field Production Management/ Drilling Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Reservoir Engineering/ Facilities or Process Engineering •Coordination and supervisory skills to work with colleagues and other E&P disciplines. •Knowledge of oil & gas project cost engineering, production-operations, reservoir management and facilities/process engineering •Familiarity with petroleum economics, contracts and oil & gas finance/accounting •Working knowledge in English is essential; knowledge of Spanish will be well regarded.
