 Senior Reservoir Engineer - QatarAn opportunity has become available for a Reservoir Engineering role in Qatar to work on two very large redevelopment projects. Candidates must have 15 years experience, preferably with large international companies, in a technical role with a focus on modelling and redevelopment. This role is available on an expat basis. Requirements: •Preferably 15+ years experience in reservoir engineering activities emphasizing large carbonate reservoirs •Significant experience working on mature oil fields under water flood •Experience in reservoir fluid sampling, fluid property modelli ng, routine and special core analysis. •Good experience in well test interpretation, material balance modelling and performance modelling of vertical and horizontal wells •Experience/knowledge of current computer software for reservoir engineering applications •Experience in numerical reservoir simulation in using of Eclipse100 and 300 in particular, history matching and field development. •Experience in EOR techniques such as miscible/ immiscible and CO2 injection •Preferably working knowledge of gas condensate reservoir as well as gas field development experience. •Desirable to have knowledge of geostatistics, integrated reservoir characterization, fault and fracture studies as well as risk assessment/management. •Desirable to have experience in static reservoir modelling and description •Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team with effective team work and communication skills •Ability to mentor junior staff to ensure good transfer of knowledge Please don't hesitate to get in touch for a completely confidential chat.
