 Geophysics Lead - Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaI am working with a rapidly expanding operating company in Kuala Lumpur that is shortly to be in receipt of a vast area of newly acquired 3D seismic, with additional 2D to follow. They are targetting marginal marine acreage that spans clastics and carbonates, and due to increased workload they are now looking for an experienced Geophysicist to lead the discipline. As a suitable professional you will be responsible for the technical input into prospect generation and maturation through detailed structural, stratigraphic and quantitative seismic interpretation. You will advise on volumetric and risk assessment, identifyi ng any new business opportunities that may arise. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring local members of staff. This role is aimed at a Geophysicist with a minimum of ten years international operating company experience, ideally having worked in multiple regions. Previous SE Asia experience would be highly regarded. In return an upper percentile expat package is on offer with the usual associated benefits.
