 New Ventures Geoscientist - GermanyI am working with a midsize operator that has established itself as a key player in international exploration and production with heavily invested subsidiaries in multiple oil and gas hubs worldwide. As they look to broaden their spectrum of interests they are now looking for an experienced Explorationist to advise them on international new ventures. As a suitable professional you will be responsible for screening all new business opportunities from a technical perspective. You will attend data rooms to advise on license round participation and bid preparation. This will entail volumetric and risk assessment with other memb ers of the integrated team. In addition you will review peer activity to identify any potential farm-in opportunities that may arise, presenting to Senior Management as appropriate. This role is aimed at a senior level individual with a previous track record in acreage acquisition, ideally that have led to commercial discoveries.
