Landscape Manager

Qualification - MSc in a landscape related discipline

- UK driving licence

- Knowledge of Design manual for Roads and Bridges and web tag

Location - Kent, South East

Experience - Experience of working within a consultancy framework desired

- Demonstrable experience in liaising with clients and undertaking surveys and producing improvement schemes

Salary - £Negotiable

Duties Include:

  • Undertaking site surveys

  • Development of landscape and environmental improvement scheme

  • Producing conceptual designs

  • Desk research

  • Team managing and mentoring

Typical Projects

As landscape manager you will join the existing environment team based in Kent working towards developing a long term management strategy to manage and enhance the soft estate within the highways boundary. You will also be involved in landscape assessment relating to new highways schemes and general asset management. Surveys you will be expected to undertake will include Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments, in order to develop landscape and environmental improvement schemes. You will be required to design conceptual drawings and undertake research to support schemes. Although the role is mainly concentrated on highways projects, you may from time to time get the opportunity to work on other non-highways projects.
