Senior BREEAM Consultant

Sheffield, UK

Salary : £NEG

Qualification- Degree qualified (BEng/ BSc/ HNC/D). Accredited BREEAM Assessor (retail and industrial advantageous), CfSH assessor. Full clean driving licence.

Location- Sheffield

Experience- Previous experience of undertaking and delivering BREEAM and other built environment sustainability projects. Experience of a consultancy framework is desirable.

Salary- Neg on skills and experience

Duties Include:

  • Developing the sustainable engineering and design services, providing sustainability solutions relating to the planning and development process

  • Working in the fields of BREEAM, Building regs and other sustainability standards

  • Undertaking assessments, producing reports

  • Mentoring other engineering staff on assessments

  • Taking an active role in business development

  • Building lasting and productive client relationships

  • Implementing renewable energy and low carbon technology schemes

About the role

This challenging and rewarding role awaits a qualified BREEAM and sustainability consultant, joining an expanding multidisciplinary consultancy in Sheffield.

Joining the Eastern division, you will you will be involved with projects relating to the Industrial, Commercial, Highways, Transport, and Building services sectors, with a significant and expanding portfolio of work a Sustainability Consultant is required to continue to develop and enhance the services provided.

The role will involve assisting in the management and development of a range of sustainability services, including feasibility studies, renewable energy technologies, CfSH Assessments, BREEAM assessments. The successful candidate will take an active role in business development and staff mentoring, as well as large and small scale project management.

The majority of project work will take place across the North East and West of the country (Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and East Midlands mostly), with the opportunity to work on/ support teams across the UK from time to time.
