This exciting opportunity has arisen within a specialist consultancy focused on the delivery of Bespoke Sustainability project to a variety of clients across the UK.

Our client – a leading independent firm of environmental consultants – seeks an experienced professional to join their team, to work on various projects in the Green Space, SEA, SA and HRA fields.

Applications are sought from those with demonstrable relevant experience in both public and private sectors, and ideal candidates will also hold an appropriate academic background with relevant professional memberships. It is essential that the successful candidate share the consultancies enthusiasm for the sustainability field – it seeks to implement sustainability principals and practices throughout its on day to day operations.

Those with experience of working on Green Infrastructure, SEA and SA projects will be at a particular advantage.

Currently the consultancy is working on a large number of SEA and SA projects, with a focus in the Public sector. These projects include work on housing developments, infrastructure developments and habitat management. Another focus of their work is Habitat Regulations assessment – experience / knowledge of this field will be welcomed.

The successful candidate will be working from the office base in London, undertaking relevant environmental assessments, scoping reports, baseline surveys using GIS, environmental reports, project monitoring and review. You will also liaise with clients and arrange meeting to present findings/ advice, and work can also include expert witness work.
