Qualification- First degree in a relevant environmental discipline, second degree with a sustainability focus anticipated. Membership of an appropriate body (IEMA, CIWEM) and working towards chartered status anticipated. Full clean driving licence. Further qualifications i.e. CfSH/ BREEAM advantageous.

Location- Newcastle

Experience- Experience of undertaking sustainability appraisals and workshops, sustainable design advice, carbon foot printing. Those with demonstrable experience of reports writing, project management and a great interest in the sustainability field will be of particular interest.

Salary- In the region of £30,000

Duties Include:

• Working within the sustainability team, collaborating with professionals from other disciplines

• Working with internal and external clients

• Project management

• Development and construction advice with a focus on sustainability

• Sustainability statements

• Running sustainability workshops

• Eco / Carbon foot printing

• Research in to sustainability tools and techniques

Typical Projects

Working with internal and external clients you will provide a wide range environmentally sustainable projects, ranging from sustainable design and construction advice through to sustainability appraisals and running workshops. Clients will be in the public and private sectors and work will typically cover the north east of the UK.
