This multidisciplinary consultancy currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical engineer to join their team based in Manchester. Working on high profile healthcare and educational projects you will assist in the delivery of low carbon designs and manage a team of staff.

Qualification- Candidates for this role are anticipated to hold appropriate professional memberships and qualifications. Candidates are anticipated to hold as many of the following as possible;

FIHEEM

CIBSE

IMechE

CEng

BEng/ MEng

Experience- Candidate are anticipated to hold a considerable background in Mechanical building services engineering. Those with experience of acting as a lead mechanical engineer on healthcare and educational projects to the value of £20million plus will be at an advantage, as will those with a good local knowledge.

Duties Include:

• Working within a multidisciplinary team

• Business development in the healthcare and educational sector

• Day to day management of more junior members of the team

• Undertaking design and project work

• Working on designs and projects that incorporate low carbon and energy efficient technologies/ sustainable practices in to buildings

• Liaising with internal and external clients across the North West

• Support the

Typical Projects

Working on various projects you will provide senior support to the team, undertaking design work and liaising with clients across the North West.

The main focus of the role will be to work on Healthcare and Educational projects, in which you will develop client relationships and assist the technical directors in business development activities across the region.
