An excellent opportunity to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy that has an expanding sustainability team, you will be working on a variety of projects across the North East of the UK, providing specialist advice on environmental sustainability issues, carbon foot printing and sustainable design advice.

Qualification- Candidates for this role are anticipated to hold a relevant academic background, with a BSc/ MSc in an environmental discipline, be working towards chartered status with IEMA / similar, and hold a full clean driving licence.

Location- Newcastle

Experience- Candidates for this role are anticipated to hold considerable sustainability consulting experience with skills is as many of the following as possible;

-Eco/ Carbon Foot printing

-Sustainability Statements

-Sustainability assessments

-Sustainable construction / building advice

-Sustainable design advice

-Developing sustainability tools

Salary- £30,000 plus

Company- Multidisciplinary consultancy

Duties Include:

• Working within a multidisciplinary team

• Providing expert sustainability advice on a wide variety of projects

• Project management

• Preparing technical reports

• Liaising with clients and stakeholders

• Running stakeholder workshops

Typical Projects

In this challenging and varied role you can expect to work on a variety of projects using a multitude of sustainability skills and tools.

Typical projects include Sustainability Statements, Sustainability Appraisals, Eco Foot printing, Carbon foot printing, and working on sustainable building projects.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will hold a specialist interest in sustainability / energy related field eg. Renewable energy, and they will be encouraged to further develop this area.
