This expanding environmental consultancy currently have a fantastic opportunity for an applied agricultural scientist to join their multidisciplinary team to provide consultancy, research and business development activities across the land based and agricultural market.

Qualification- Candidates for this role are anticipated to hold a relevant degree / MSc / PhD, in Environmental science/ nutrient management/ soil science/ Agricultural science. Full membership of an appropriate professional body is anticipated, as is a full clean driving licence. Those who are FACTS qualified will be at an advantage.

Location- Leeds, other locations considered

Experience- Candidates fro this role will hold previous experience in this or similar roles, with demonstrable scientific knowledge in the agriculture science field, excellent communication skills and the ability work in a team environment delivering specialist solutions to a range of agricultural clients in the public and private sectors.

Salary- £25-30,000 plus benefits

In this role you will use your agricultural environment knowledge and scientific skills to provide environmental consultancy programmes and research projects for a range of private and public sector clients in the agricultural industry. You will provide specialist scientific based solutions for problems and contribute to the development of policies and guidelines.

You will be involved with liaising with clients and stakeholder, assessing agricultural practices, report writing and field based work. You will also assist the directors in business development / bidding for new work.
