Qualification- MSc in Ecology/ similar, Full membership of IEEM , CEnv status desirable. Protected species licences, Bats in particular, will be advantageous. Full clean driving licence.

Location- Manchester

Experience- The successful candidate for this role will have an established ecology career with proven track record in managing and delivering high profile ecology and EIA projects, excellent staff management skills and report writing experience. Previous experience of preparing tenders and assisting in business development is desirable.

Salary- Negotiable on skills and experience - £37,000- 42,000

Company- Multidisciplinary consultancy

Duties Include:

• Staff management and mentoring

• Supporting the technical director in the delivery of projects

• Business development and marketing activities

• Large scale ecology and EIA project management

• Report writing and technical review

• Expert witness

• Liaising with clients and stakeholders

Typical Projects

Large scale infrastructure scheme, energy and water related projects, highways and commercial developments.
