Ecologist Newcastle, UK Ref: CMP4111Salary : £24 - 30KThis specialist environmental consultancy currently have an excellent opportunity to join their ecology team based in Newcastle. The established consultancy currently have a variety of exciting and high profile projects and offer excellent career opportunities for successful candidate. Qualification- BSc/ MSc in Ecology / similar, Full membership of IEEM, protected species licences anticipated, full clean driving licence a requirement of the role. Location- Newcastle Experience- Previous ecology consultancy experience, with demonstrable strong skills in ecology surveying, mitigation and report writing, including preparation of chapters for EIAs. Those with a track record in project and staff management will be at an advantage. Salary- £24-30,000 Company- Environmental Consultancy Duties Include:
Typical Projects In this fantastic opportunity you will have the chance to work on a wide variety of ecology and environmental projects, including infrastructure development and maintenance projects, energy (including renewable s) developments, Brownfield regeneration and residential developments. There is also opportunity to work on ecological monitoring and habitat creation projects such as artificial badger setts, and ecological research projects.
