This expanding environmental consultancy currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced ecologist with strong skill sin the field of Bats or Ornithology to join their team based in Cirencester.

Qualification- BSc / MSc in ecology / similar, protected species licence anticipated, full clean driving licence, membership of an appropriate professional body.

Location- South West

Experience- Previous ecology consultancy experience, demonstrable track record in project management and deliver, liaising with clients and preparation of ecology chapters for EIAs and licence applications for NE.

Salary- £25-30,000

Duties Include:

• Project management

• Staff management

• Client liaising

• Planning and undertaking ecology surveys

• Report writing

• Preparation of licence applications

• Assisting the partners in business development

Typical Projects

Private and public sector projects including energy developments, residential developments, Brownfield regeneration sites, highways developments and maintenance projects.
