An excellent opportunity awaits an individual with experience in the wind energy sector to join this expanding environmental consultancy. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects across Scotland, working on design and installation projects of renewable energy systems, and providing specialist environmental and sustainability advice for a variety of clients.

Candidates for this role are anticipated to hold a relevant environmental or engineering degree, and hold full membership of a relevant professional body (IEMA anticipated). A full clean driving licence is a requirement of the role due to travel involved.

The successful candidate will hold experience in the renewable energy / sustainability sector, and will hold experience of working on wind energy projects including skills in project management and management of contractors / engineers.

The role is to based near Edinburgh with travel across Scotland as required.

Duties Include:

• Project management

• Providing specialist information to clients on renewable energy, and sustainable / low carbon design

• Energy and Sustainability statements

• Working on design and installation projects for wind energy

• Assisting the directors in sales and further building the business stream for renewables in the consultancy

• Report writing

• Working on maintenance programs for clients – long term project input

• Assisting on other projects as required- eg BREEAM, CfSH projects
