Senior Agricultural Consultant Nottingham Ref: CMP4370Salary : £27-32K+This growing environmental consultancy currently have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced environmental consultant with specific knowledge of Farm and Land consultancy to join their team based in Nottingham. Qualification- Candidates for this role are anticipated to hold a relevant degree – Agriculture, land management, environmental based, MSc / Further academic qualifications anticipated. The successful candidate will be FACTS qualified and hold a full clean driving license. Further BASIS qualifications will be advantageous. Location- Nottingham, travel across the UK as required – position can be home based – please enquire Experience- The successful candidate for this role will hold demonstrable experience in t delivering consultancy and advice services to farm businesses, with experience of working on projects in areas such as conservation management, catchment sensitive farming, planning applications, nutrient planning and farm business management. A demonstrable track record in business development and selling to farm businesses is a requirement, as is an in-depth knowledge of relevant UK policy and legislation. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate broad knowledge in the following; nutrient planning tools, e.g. PLANET, husbandry, policy, regulation including NVZ regulations, grants available to farm businesses, farm waste and manures storage, commercial awareness. Salary- Negotiable on skills and experience (anticipated to be in the region of £27-32,000 plus benefits) Company- Environmental consultancy The focus of the role is to provide specialist consultancy advice and services to a range of farm businesses, assisting them in adapting to environmental regulations, climate change and changing market conditions. You will develop and sell a range of technical and business consultancy services to farmers and environmental agencies. Duties Include:
