An excellent opportunity has arisen within a global multidisciplinary consultancy for an experienced EIA consultant to join their team based in central London. Working on a variety of EIA, Environmental Statement and SEA projects across a range of industries including transport, power and property developments.

Qualification- The successful candidate for this role is anticipated to hold a relevant academic qualifications, with a BSc/ MSc in an appropriate environmental discipline, supported by full professional membership of IEMA or similar and registration on IEMAs EIA practitioner scheme is advantageous.

Location- London

Experience- Previous experience of working on large scale EIA and Environmental assessments on transport, land development, and energy schemes is desirable, candidates for the role are anticipated to hold demonstrable skills in project and staff management, with a strong working knowledge and understanding of the EIA process and relevant UK legislation.

Salary- £30,000 plus

• Undertaking a broad range of environmental assessments- EIA, SEA, Environmental management projects

• Working with a mix of public and private sector client s

• Report writing

• Project management and coordination

• Liaising with clients and stakeholders

• Assisting directors in business development

Typical Projects:

Current projects include rail, renewable energy and land development projects, including work on the 2012 London Olympics, and EcoTowns.
