Environmental Consultant Huddersfield Ref: CMP4445Salary : £16-18K+A leading environmental consultancy currently has an excellent opportunity for an Environmental Consultant to join their team to provide support for EIA and GIS projects. Qualification- Candidates for this role are anticipated to hold a relevant academic background with a BSC / MSC in an environmental discipline (Geography, Environmental Management, GIS) and a full clean driving license. Membership of IEMA will be an advantage. A full clean driving license is a requirement of the role. Location- Huddersfield, commutable from Oldham, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Rochdale, Wakefield, Barnsley Experience- The successful candidate will hold demonstrable knowledge of GIS software eg ArcView / Corel Draw, and experience of environmental assessment / EIA projects. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong communication skills and experience of using wind farm software will be a distinct advantage eg ReSoft / WindPRO. Typical Projects: Working on a variety of projects relating to wind farm developments you will provide environmental assessment and planning support, using GIS and wind farm modeling software, also undertaking field surveys and contributing to technical report writing. Benefits:
