Environmental Assessment and Mapping Consultant Halifax Ref: CMP4447Salary : £16-18K+An excellent opportunity has arisen with a growing environmental consultancy for an environmental consultant with knowledge of EIA, Renewable energy developments and GIS to join their team based near Halifax. Applicants for this role are anticipated to hold a relevant academic background with an environmental degree (Environmental Science, Geography, Sustainability), MSc would be advantageous. Membership of IEEM is desirable and a full clean driving license is a requirement due to the nature of the role. Applications are sought from candidates with some previous experience of working on environmental impact assessments and GIS/ environmental modeling projects in relation to on shore wind farm developments, either in a working or university placement. Duties Include:
Typical Projects Working on a range of small and medium scale wind energy developments you will provide support to environmental assessments and impact assessments by way of site surveys and producing mapping and modeling of sites and environmental conditions. Benefits:
