Qualification - MSc in Geotechnical Engineering

Experience - 2-3 years site investigation

Salary - £24 - £28k

Company - Multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy

Staff - 1000

Duties

• Foundation selection and design.

• Interpretative report writing.

• Slope stability studies for highway embankments etc.

• Work with other internal clients offering geotechnical support.

• Client and contractor liaison.

Typical projects

You will be involved on geotechnical projects predominately associated with the highways sector. My client is currently working on 3 large projects in the central belt area of Scotland and urgently requires an experienced individual to join their team to enable them to bid on additional projects. My client also operates an internal consultancy service and as such the successful applicant will add geotechnical support to other service sectors within the company.
