My client is seeking a graduate level Transport Planner to join their team in London and work on several projects requiring expertise in pedestrian modelling. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading specialist transport consultancies. They are involved in exciting projects in London and elsewhere in the UK and have a fantastic reputation for excellence, winning a prestigious NCE award this year.

About the role

• Undertaking studies and research of pedestrian movement within transport and public spaces and other walking/urban realm projects.

• Using pedestrian modelling software packages such as PEDROUTE and Legion.

• Writing transport assessments, travel plans and transport statements.

About you

• You will have professional experience in the transport planning sector, gained in the private sector or with a local authority.

• Prior experience of pedestrian modelling / movement is essential, with experience using the aforementioned software packages being a distinct advantage.

• Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent communication and written skills.
