My client has an urgent requirement for an Infrastructure Technician to join their team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK largest engineering consultancies who undertakes a large amount of work in the highways sector throughout the South East and South West. They offer tailored training ensuring your technical and professional skills will develop as you progress in the role. About the role

• Working from the Bristol office, you will be working on major highways and infrastructure schemes throughout the South West.

• Reporting directly to the Senior Technician, you will be responsible for the design work for a variety of different sized projects.

• You will also be expected to draft high standard reports and attend team and client meetings when required.

About you

• You must have experience using AutoCAD in an infrastructure environment, ideally gained in the private sector although candidates with local authority experience will also be considered.

• Knowledge of highways design standards (DTp or Local Highway Authority) would be extremely beneficial.

• Any experience of drainage design using software packages such as MX would also be highly advantageous.
