An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a leading planning and development consultancy in the beautiful Cumbria area of the UK. My client is seeking an MRICS qualified Rural Surveyor with Land Agent experience to join their practice in Kendal.

About the role

• Multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in residential, rural, planning & development and building consultancy services. They have close to 20 offices throughout the UK and are a well recognised organisation.

• Working from offices in Kendal you will be responsible for the day to day management of rural estates, providing specialist advice and guidance to large estates, providing planning advice for potential development opportunities and advising on acquisition projects.

• You will be working as part of a small team of rural surveying specialists and liaising on a regular basis with key clients; enhancing and developing relationships.

About you

• The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified and have several years post qualification experience. However candidates with less or more experience will also be considered.

• You will have experience working in a Land Agent capacity, with local knowledge being a significant benefit.

• You will have possess a full UK driving licence, excellent communication skills and be capable of writing reports for client and external use.
