An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a specialist consultancy in Gloucestershire and work on a variety of telecoms projects. Applications are invited from individuals with post graduate experience in structural engineering who have an existing knowledge of building or mast design.

The company

A well established structural steel specialist engineering firm with office located in the Gloucestershire region of the UK. They are experts in the design of towers, masts and poles for a variety of applications including telecommunications and radar.

About the role

• You will be responsible for designing structures according to client specifications and design usage requirements. In a time pressured industry, it is important that work is carried out according to planned timescales.
• You will liaise closely with the CAD team to ensure drawings accurately reflect initial designs.
• The role will also include elements of surveying, requiring the individual to visit client sites to take photographs and measurements.

About you

• You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Previous experience in the structural engineering field is essential. Knowledge of towers/mast design would be highly advantageous.
• Applicants must be able to commute to the Gloucester area on a daily basis. Applications will also be considered from individuals prepared to relocate.
