Legionella Risk Assessor

Salary : £18 - 25K

Following a progressive growth in my client’s workload they are seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to work with on their Scottish contracts. They are specifically seeking candidates with a proven track record in the water hygiene field with a thorough understanding of ACOP L8 and accompanying City & Guilds qualifications.

The company

Specialist water hygiene and facilities company with UK coverage. They undertake legionella risk assessments, monitoring & sampling and remedial work on a large variety of clean water systems.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Undertake legionella risk assessments

  • Recommend appropriate remedial actions when positive tests identified

  • Monitoring and maintenance of client sites

  • Compiling written reports on all work undertaken

  • Ensuring all work is done in accordance with ACOP L8

Experience / Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role conducting both legionella risk assessments and water treatment work

  • Relevant City & Guilds qualifications are highly desirable

  • Thorough understanding of ACOP L8

  • Full UK driving licence
