Engineering Geologist

My client was established in 1938 and currently employs over 18000 staff with a current turn over of £1.26 billion. They have an excellent reputation for their highly professional approach to their clients and employees. They are one of the largest engineering consultancies in the UK.

Qualifications: BSc in geology, earth sciences or equivalent with ideally a masters in engineering geology, geotechnical engineering or a related subject would be ideal.

Experience: any experience in the sector would be ideal.

Duties:

• Trial pitting

• Ground investigation

• Site investigation

• Writing technical reports

• Field work

Typical projects

This role is an engineering geology/geotechnical role. You will be based in the Manchester area and carrying out projects across the North of England. In this role, you will be carrying out work including such things as site investigation, trial pitting, field work and writing technical reports.
