Geotechnical Engineer

Qualifications: Ideally a BSc in Earth Sciences, Geology, Geosciences or similar with ideally a masters in soil Mechanics, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or similar.

Experience: proven experience in the field would be an advantage.

Duties

• Desk studies

• Write technical and accurate reports

• Liaising with clients and contractors

• Trial pitting

• Site investigations

• Design of geotechnical solutions

Typical projects

Projects will be varied including for example Brownfield site regeneration projects, road and rail projects and environmental projects.
