Our client, a well respected Rural Development and Environmental Consultancy has a fantastic position for an Agricultural Consultant to join their rapidly growing team and deliver high quality agricultural and environmental regulation and legislation advice to a variety of clients.

Qualifications: For this role candidates will ideally have a degree in agriculture or other environmental related discipline. Applicants who hold FACTS and BASIS qualifications will be at an advantage. Due to the travel commitments involved in the role a full UK driving license is essential.

Location: Kent

Experience: In this instance candidates are sought with extensive experience in liaising with farmers, land owners and stakeholders, delivering expert advice on agricultural and environmental legislation's and regulations. It is anticipated that the successful Agricultural Consultant will have a strong working knowledge of low carbon and resource protection topics and agri-environment schemes.

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Duties:

• Liaising with farmers and stakeholders

• Advising on the latest agricultural and environmental legislation's

• Project management

• Traveling to meet clients

• Keeping an up to date knowledge of all UK environmental and agricultural legislation's and regulations
