Our client, an established building services and sustainability consultancy has a fantastic opportunity for a Sustainability Engineer to join their experienced team in their South Croydon offices. Within the role you will be working on large scale projects for both public bodies and private clients, predominantly in the commercial and retail industries.

Qualifications: Ideally candidates will hold a BEng in Mechanical or Electrical Building Services and an MSc in a relevant sustainability/energy discipline. In addition applicants with a BREEAM accreditation will be at an advantage.

Location: South Croydon

Experience: In this instance candidates are sought with demonstrable consultancy experience advising clients on energy efficiency and sustainability in building design. It is anticipated that the successful Sustainability Engineer will be a CIBSE low carbon consultant, accredited energy assessor and BREEAM assessor. Applicants who have project and staff management experience will be at an advantage.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000

Duties:

• Advising on all areas of sustainable design

• Undertaking BREEAM and Energy Assessments

• Project management

• Report writing

• Mentoring junior members of the team
