A well respected multi-disciplinary consultancy has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join their team in their Sheffield offices. You will be joining a team of energy and sustainability experts where you will have the opportunity to be in charge of your own projects, varying from retail, mixed-use, multi residential and commercial developments.

Qualifications: In this instance candidates are sought with a BSc / BEng (or equivalent) and will ideally have an MSc /MEng qualification. Applicants with membership to an appropriate professional body will be at an advantage.

Location: Sheffield

Experience: For this role it is anticipated that the successful Sustainability Consultant will have a strong consultancy background and have a passion for sustainable design. Suitable applicants for this role are expected to be accredited in one or more BREEAM schemes, candidates who have also advised on environmental assessment methods will be at an advantage.

Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Duties:

• Undertaking BREEAM / Code for Sustainable homes assessments

• Working on carbon foot printing and energy audits

• Client liaison

• Project management

• Report writing
